The Bare Family

Not too much to report this weekend. Sat Dean and I dropped off Zane with Granny {Dean's mom} and headed to Ichetucknee Springs for some quiet time. We got there a bit late and had to wait about 15 min to rent a tube and then got told that not only the head of the spring was closed {which I expected} but the mid-point was also closed... so we got to start at the 1 hour float mark. and let me tell you... it was SO crowded!! I told Dean and we won't be going back on a weekend EVER again! but I have to admit, it was pretty fun {minus waiting 45 min for a seat on the tram back to the parking lot}. We then decided to go and look at some mobile homes in lake city since we've decided that for right now that is the route we'll be taking for a new home. and we'll... we found a winner!! :) YAY!! I'm super excited... it's 2004 sq ft and 4 bedrooms with a family room, and we LOVE it! Now... just to sit back and wait till we can actually buy it!! Let the savi

I've been doing a lot of soul searching and still coming up a bit short on an answer..... To have another baby or not? If so, when!?!? We DEF want a second, but I don't think we can afford for me to stay home with both... but then if I go back to work, after daycare expenses and gas I'll be practically paying someone to watch my kids. :( To keep the photography going, or stop?? I LOVE it don't get me wrong... but I feel like with everything else that's going on, all the GREAT photographers out there... I just feel like I'm loosing my sparkle for it. :/ Go back to school or just find a full time job??? ok... well that is the one question I do have a half way answer too, lol! I have an appt at Sanford Brown Institute on Monday morning to tour the campus and meet with an adviser for the Sonography program. But then comes the question of what am I going to do with Zane... we can't afford to put him in daycare full time with just Dean working, but I'

I would really like to know when my life decided to go on fast forward!! This weekend was pretty low key... we headed out to the river Sat with Dean and a guy he works with and his wife... I actually saved a little boy from drowning at the river right before we left, talk about heart attack city... good Lord I still get a bit emotional over that... Dean is still in a bit of shock from it too, as is Zane since I just left him to float in his life vest so that I could grab the other boy before he went under... all I can say is at least I was at the right place at the right time... I would hate to see another accident like that happen... then I headed off to Fernandina for a Senior session. Was suppose to go to a b-day party that night but was SO tired and still a bit on edge that I decided to just stay home instead. Sunday I woke up with the worst migraine I've had in a LONG time!! So we ended up pretty much sitting at the house all day and I ended up having to move my session :(

We went to Ichetucknee River today with Kim to go tubbing!!! I rented a double tube for Zane and I thinking that MAYBE he would stay on his side... yeh right {momma's boy! lol!} We only did the 1.5 trip so that if by the 30 min mark he wasn't having it we could get out.. but he did great just playing in the the water and the occasional jump of the tube and swim momments, lol! He ended up falling asleep 2 turns before we were suppose to get out and actually slept through Kim and I trading him off, the ride back to the parking lot and then woke up when I changed him into his dry clothes for the trip home. We'll def be going again, maybe next time with Dean, lol!

Ok... so not going to go into the details.. but Dean was home from work today after thinking he had lost his wallet. We did find his wallet so all is well there. Kim and I are planning on going to the Itchetucknee on Wed and Dean wanted to go too but couldn't get off so we were going to try and go today... but well... being hot pink and all I didn't think that would be such a wise idea, lol! So after talking to Kim... off to the movies to see Despicable Me. I must say.. it was a cute movie, but just not as good as I thought it would be... and well Zane apparently felt the same way... he did NOT sit through the entire movie... by the end he was talking so much that Dean took him out of the theater, lol! The boy did pile down some popcorn {we had to get a refill!} After the movie we hit up Cami Cakes and then of course Target where Aunt Kim found Zane some dress up pirate and construction stuff :)

We had quite the low key weekend.... and it was camera free (minus my phone camera). Sat Dean went in and worked overtime while Zane and I were SUPPOSE to go to a birthday party in the morning at the aquatic center. I think he's still not feeling well from earlier this week.... So it was a temper tantrum morning and we ended up having to bail on the b-day party :( We did meet Dean after work to look at some housing options (but we won't be doing anything about that just yet). After talking with the Pedersen's who were in town for the Wakeboard contest Dean and I opted to not go to we decided to meet up with them for dinner. And then ofcourse they decided to stay till tom so that we could all go to the river. :) Sunday morning well all got up a bit early and headed to Folkston for some breakfast and to gas up... then off to the river for some wakeboarding fun! 5 hours later I was the only one red as a lobster (with sunscreen!!!!) Since Dean had off today for the 4th we decided to hit up the beach with some friends... here's a couple a pics that I grabbed before I started playing in the sand and water with my guys...

What a day!! We had made plans to head to church this morning but we all ended up sleeping in a bit since we were up so late the night before. I then headed off to Callahan for a Newborn session {check out my Barefoot Images blog }. Once back from Callahan we started getting ready to go eat with Dean's side of the family {minus Deanna, Lane and Hannah} at Sonny's and then we headed off to Fernandina to watch the {2 min that we thought was going to be a 20 min} parade, lol! It was fun though... what can't be fun with family!?!? We had originally planned to stay in Fernandina and play around till fireworks, but then decided at the last min just to head back to Hilliard and catch the fireworks there .... and boy are we glad we did... {much closer to home!} It was a great 4th... but next year we're doing a party here!! lol!!
