This morning we headed down to Disney for our first day of our long vacation!! It also just happens to be my 30th Birthday! We decided to leave the house this morning about 4am since we had a few stops to make and we wanted to meet some friends at Animal Kingdom when they opened at 9am. We spent the entire day at Animal Kingdom {well until it closed at like 5, lol} then we headed off to the cabin to meet with Granny and Aunt KIm. Once there we found happy cake and presents!! Then we headed to Disney for a little bit since they were open till 1am. Here are just a few pics from the day...

Eye Exam

This morning we headed out for Zane's eye exam at Nemours. I've been noticing one of his eyes crossing when he looks closely at something and it seems to be getting a bit worse so I wanted to have it checked. Zane did GREAT and after the eye exam we found out the Zane has an eye condition that hopefully and more than likely can be corrected with glasses... so little man will be sporting a new look once we can find some that momma likes, haha!

So we're still waiting on Peyton's teeth.. But she is pretty much asking for solid food! haha! So today was her first time having puffs and I think it's safe to say that she LOVED them!

I thought this year I'd be slick and get our tree up and decorated before Zane got up the next morning since we have breakable ornaments and a tile floor. Well after finding out that we had NO lights {???!!} I waited till today after I had got some and little man was down for a nap to start. I was ALMOST done when he woke up.. so to side track him I sent him and daddy to decorate his in his room....

We enjoyed lots of family company and some good food today! I love that every year our family is growing and I love that Zane is getting to grow up with his cousins {though I wish we were able to get together with everyone a bit more} We are very blessed to have the great and supportive family that we have.. and we love them ALL very much!

Oh my I can't believe Zane's THREE! How did that happen so quickly?!?! Sadly Zane was sick for his birthday but we decided not to cancel his party. Off to the park we headed. Zane played pretty hard for a little bit then crashed with a fever about 2 hours in. Thankfully we ran through eating and cake.. and we decided to do presents at home later that night once he had gotten some rest and the fever broke. Thank you all that came out or sent him gifts.. he LOVED everything!!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Friday Dean was off half a day.. I had the van loaded and ready to go. Once he was off we headed off to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party... only to find it was SOLD OUT!! That's ok though... we headed to downtown disney and spent what was left of the day there and headed to Magic Kingdom the next morning...

The BIGGEST news about this trip?!?! Zane's FINALLY tall enough for Splash Mountain!!! This is his second trip down {yes, I actually caught THEIR boat!} His first ride down was with mommy, then a second with daddy.. followed about a third with mommy... and wanting MORE! YAY!!

Then once we were done playing we headed off to Tampa to see the Pedersen's for a while. Morgan and Dean got some early riding in on Sunday and then after lunch back out we all headed. After a few sets we were headed home. {this weekend ended WAY too quickly!!!}

Fun with Grandpa

Zane absolutely LOVES his grandpa! Today Grandpa figured a way to attach his wagon to the back of Lighting. Zane was riding around picking up sticks and "acorns", aka pinecones. Grandpa then showed him the seeds inside the pinecones and that began a whole new game for Zane. He was getting them out and throwing them in the air so that he could watch them spin to the ground.

It's times like these that I really wish my mom was here to enjoy this time too.

First thing this morning we all loaded up to head to Jacksonville for Dean's dentist appt so that he could get a tooth pulled. Last time he had one pulled he couldn't drive home from the loss of blood.. so in order to just completely avoid that we just came with him. After dropping him off I headed to a near by park so that Zane could run and play {no way was he going to sit in the car for the hour and half we would be there.} Well after playing at the park for about 2 hours we headed back to the dentist only to find they hadn't even pulled the tooth yet!!! Kim was on her way home from St Augustine so she stopped and joined us in our waiting game and took Zane down to the bakery for a treat. After almost FOUR hours we were headed back home.

I was a bit upset with myself because I didn't grab Gabe's birthday gift this morning before leaving because well Dean's appt was at 9 this morning and with Gabe's party not till 4 I thought there was PLENTY of time for us to come home for naps and then head back out. Well instead we had enough time to drop Dean and Peyton at home.. grab Gabe's gift and get back out the door.

We had a BLAST at Gabe's birthday party though!!! Zane just wanted to keep going on the track, I honestly don't think he really cared who he rode with, ha! Deanna ALWAYS has the BEST birthday parties for the kids, she really should have a business planning parties!! Thank you Gabe for inviting us!! and HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY!!!!

Dentist, Doctor and Pictures

Today was LOADED full. This morning Zane had his first dentist appt. I was praying that he wouldn't freak out and he'd do great and that's exactly what happened. We walked to the back where they brushed his teeth, flossed his teeth and then counted them {aka checked for cavities}. When the actual dentist came in to take a look he was too interested in the movie Rio on the ceiling and the headphones weren't coming off to talk, haha! Dentist said everything looked great and NO cavities!!

Next up was Peyton and her dr appt. She weighed in at 13 pounds{25%} {that's what Zane was at his TWO month appt!!} and was 25 inches {75%} {I've got to go back and check her height.. that's what I get for waiting two weeks to blog it! :/} She had 3 shots and mommy cried I think just as much as she did while Zane just kept asking if she was ok... poor thing. The next appt should be quite interesting... it'll be for Peyton's 6 month and Zane's 3 year... Please be praying, I'm going to be a wreck with both kids getting shots!!! I always feel horrible!!

I managed to get some errands done between appts but was suppose to finish up after Peytons and I don't think any of us were feeling it so home we went for some rest. And after a little rest and daddy getting home, I took Peyton's 4 months pics. Not the best day to be doing pics because of her shots but unless I just wanted to ship them this was the only day to get them done... so here they are..

Movie Fun

Since Dean had the day off we decided to take Zane to FINALLY see Cars 2 before it disappeared out of the theater. {Really sad we missed Pooh}. He LOVED it! We had planned on taking him for ice cream after but the place we wanted to go was closed. So off to Granny's we headed to get Miss Peyton.

Some days I have a hard time believing Peyton is 4 months... others I feel like she's been here SO much longer! She's added nothing but more joy to our family and thankfully Zane still loves her, HA! :)

Dean and I were lucky enough to escape today and head to Typhoon Lagoon for the afternoon for a day date!! Thank you SO much Granny and Pam for watching Zane and Peyton!! I know Zane had a blast playing all day with Granny because he slept HALF the day on Monday!! ha!! And I'm sure Peyton had fun with Pam.. Hannah however I know wasn't too happy about Peyton, haha!

We got down to Disney a little later than planned but we had been running about 1.5 hours behind from the get go this morning. So our original plan of heading to Epcot to ride soarin' before heading to Typhoon Lagoon didn't exactly happen.. esp since we found out the wait was 75 Minutes!!! yikes!!! So off to Typhoon Lagoon... we had a LOT of fun.. def wish we had a little more time since we didn't get to ride all the slides.. but we'll get there. Excited to take Zane.. he's going to LOVE the little water part for the kids. My favorite part of the day.. the wave pool!!! It sends out a series of HUGE ... I mean HUUUUGE.. waves.. I had so much fun trying to body surf them, haha!

Slip N Slidin'

After getting home from my sunrise session I was determined to try not to crash! I had Dean take off our back door so that I could paint it {it SO needed to be done before Peyton got here.. but well...}. So while Dean was doing that I set up Zane slip n slide. He had a blast with Dean throwing {well sliding} him down it.. then Dean decided to get the rope and use it, ha! Once he was done sliding we drove boats {aka... leaves} down the slip n slide. Then Dean broke out the bubbles!!!! We had so much fun this morning with little man while Peyton was sleeping.

Ahh.. sunrise! I love being able to be up this early, but I hate missing my sleep! ha! But today was for good reason. I had a session with Casey this morning for some fun sunrise swimsuit pics. It's def fun getting to play with photography again, though I can't see it becoming as full time as it was {at least not right now} but I'm having SO much fun taking sessions here and there!

I was doing my normal routine with Peyton. When she wakes up I turn on her light, turn her mobile on and go fix her bottle before I get her out of her crib. I walk in her room after getting her bottle ready to find Zane IN her crib JUMPING! All while Peyton is just smiling at him! First thought was PLEASE DON"T FALL ON HER!!! ..second though.. GET THE CAMERA! lol! I left them in there for a bit.. Zane was just talking to her and playing with her.. Peyton kept a smile on her face the entire time... I hope they stay like this!

Yep.. we went back! haha! Surprised I know! But hey.. gotta make sure we squeeze every penny out of those passes!! Plus in just a matter of months Zane won't be FREE anymore :(

Anyways, back to our visit. Kim and I headed down Friday morning with the kids. After making a target stop because I forgot something {then realizing about 30 min after leaving there I forgot something else!} We FINALLY arrived at Disney. I SOO should have taken a pic of our luggage load and how we got in our room with all of it plus two kids, pretty amusing. Anyways.. we had planned on swimming when we got there but little man was in a bit of a mood so I made him lay down... an hour later he was OUT. Aunt Kim went swimming.. and no longer did Zane go out {and I thought I may catch a little sleep} Peyton was up! After feeding her and then realizing she was NOT going to go back to sleep I sat with Kim outside our room waiting for Zane to wake up {it was STORMING outside and they had cleared the pool} After little man got up off we headed to Magic Kingdom. We didn't do too much before heading back to the resort because daddy and granny had arrived. But we did manage to ride Pirates.. and Aunt Kim and Zane rode on Dumbo, the Carosel and drove Race cars. I am proud to say that Zane didn't have ONE accident ALL day!!!

Saturday everyone slept till almost 11! We got up, ate, and headed to the pool {for 3 hours! haha!} Zane was so tired he didn't even fight us on leaving. Got to the room.. tried to get him down for a nap while Aunt Kim and Granny headed off to Downtown Disney since we wanted to eat at T-Rex later. After almost an hour we decided to just give in and get going. So off to Downtown for some food and a little shopping. After meeting Kim and Granny we found out they had just ate and since Dean and I were now hungry we decided to just head to Disney and we could grab some food there. Well.. on the way Zane fell asleep {and while sleeping peed in his pants and of course I got hit too!} So... off to our room we went to get out of our pee clothes. an hour later {thanks to the boats} we were back in Magic Kingdom trying to find Aunt Kim and Granny... couldn't figure out where they were and with a parade about to start decided we'd ride pirates in hopes the parade would be done when we got out. We ended up catching the end of the parade and meeting Kim and Granny shortly after. Dean, Zane and I still needed to eat dinner.. but since the park was closing soon wanted to squeeze some things in.. so back to Dumbo we went.. then to Pooh.. then Aunt Kim and Granny headed to Peter Pan while we sought out some much needed FOOD! After getting food Zane and I headed over to get one last ride in on the Race Cars.. then went back and ate our food.

Sunday we headed off to Animal Kingdom after getting the cars packed. Dean and I had yet to ride "Dinosaur" .. SOOO much fun! Zane's still a bit to short and I think it's def a bit too scary for him still. But he had fun climbing on the dinosaur outside and then the dinosaur ride {it's just like Dumbo but with dinosaurs, ha!}. Then we were off to Hollywood Studios {certainly a benefit of having passes!!} First up... food and fast passes for the new Star Wars ride. Then we were off to try and catch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show ... but missed it because of a another accident :/ So off to meet Pooh and Mickey we went. We then headed to Tower of Terror.. because when Dean rode it for the first time I was preggo with Peyton.. so I had yet to ride it.. Ahh! GREAT ride!! Then it was time for our fast passes so off to the Star Wars ride. We were all getting pretty tired from all the heat so decided to head bak to get the cars and head to downtown to eat at T-Rex. We were just out of the parking lot when Zane fell asleep. We had a yummy dinner followed by a AWESOME dessert then we were headed home!! Zane stayed awake practically the ENTIRE way! I thought for sure he'd be out cold! He didn't fall asleep till we hit Hilliard at 1:20am!

This by far is the craziest trip we have done... I feel like we just did a bunch of walking around! ha! And I have got to just start sucking it up and bringing my good camera. I looked back at some of the pictures I have from Zane first few times and Peyton has NO good pics :( bad mommy!!!

Today we decided to head to the beach with Zane, but not before dropping off Peyton to hang out with Granny for a little while and picking up Aunt Kim. We had so much fun building castles this time. Zane is usually so interested in playing in the water that we don't get to... this time was SO different! I can't wait till Peyton is old enough for sunscreen so she can join us!

I was the only one that did both.. but I did get a small ice cream and came home and shared my cupcakes, lol! Then we were off to our movie "Crazy, Stupid, Love". I have to admit.. it was good, but I think I could have waited for it to come to dvd. It had a few "slow" points. Can't wait for our next get together!!!

I had thought about taking Zane to go and actually see the last launch but I just didn't want to take the risk since there was a 70% chance they were going to call it. Now.. totally wishing I had! Instead we sat at home and watched it... Zane LOVED it! He kept informing me that they were going to the moon, haha! and ofcourse wanted to watch it over and over again.

Still can't believe we've been holding you for 2 months already! We just moved you to size 1 diapers. and I've been putting you in some of your smaller 0-3 month clothes.. though you still fit in your newborn clothes. You're sleeping on your stomach and sleeping THROUGH the night!! {except waking up once for your paci}. You can hold your head up pretty well while your on your stomach.. though you're still gaining control. You LOVE your brother and smile just about every time he gets close to you and you listen every time he talks.. it's SO cute! And I'm starting to come to the conclusion that you may not be a strawberry blonde.. I'm starting to think you and you're brother will have the same color hair. Guess I'll prob still be guessing till it gets a bit longer!

We started the morning off going to St Mary's for the 4th of July parade and festivities. {We'll def be doing it again next year.. SO much fun!}

After the parade we went home to get ready to head over to a friends for a cookout but we were having technical difficulties from Zane so nap time it was. Then after dinner we headed back to St Marys for fireworks. {So upset that Hilliard cancelled theirs this year, but with all the fires can completely understand! Though I'm looking forward to them next year!} We didn't go downtown though, since Aunt Vicki and Uncle Paul live so close we headed to the dock in their neighborhood and watched them.

Today we headed out to Fort Clinch to meet up with cousins Kate and Gabe for some 4th of July pics. and well.. the boys didn't want much to do with the camera, ha! We had planned on doing pics then having a picnic before heading to the party n play for some bounce house fun... but we both ran a bit late, pics were a little more difficult... so we decided to just let them play a bit at the fort. Then we treated them to ice cream and then headed home {but not before a stop at Target, hahaa!!}

That's right.. we're back at DISNEY! After our passes expiring 3 months ago we finally renewed them! I see LOTS of Disney trips in our future again. Our first trip wasn't suppose to be for another 2 weeks.. but we just couldn't take it any more.. so after some rearranging we headed out...

We didn't get down there till about 6ish, but that turned out to be a good thing because we missed all the weather they had earlier. After getting to our hotel and checking in off to Disney we went. The weather def cleared out the park a bit and we didn't have to really wait to ride anything {which is WAY odd for summer}. Even Peter Pan was down to a 30 min wait instead of the normal 45 min! ha! We didn't do too much since we didn't get to the park till almost 8 and they closed at 11.. but we did ride pirates, pooh, dumbo and the race cars.. had dinner and then some ice cream a little later.. before headed back to our room.

Day two started a little before 9am.. with both kids still sleeping, ha! After packing up our room, eating and loading the van back to Magic Kingdom we went. We started with the Jungle Cruise {I keep seeing the Disney commercial with it and just needed to ride it, haha!}. We decided to go ahead and eat some lunch while we were waiting on Aunt Kim and Granny to arrive! :) After finishing lunch and now with everyone there we started on the rides. First up.. Pirates! {after getting fast passes for Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain} and I must admit.. 25 min wait for Pirates was a little upsetting when you're just use to walking straight to the ride and getting on, ha! We then headed back to Thunder Mountain, but they had shut the ride down for some issues... so we headed to the Haunted Mansion to see the new additions they had made to it. Back to Splash and Thunder ... Splash Mountain had a 80 min wait!!! Holy Cow!! I don't remember the last time I seen it that long!!! After Zane asking multiple time to ride the monorail we decided we'd go ahead and ride it to Epcot, ride Nemo, eat dinner and head home since it was getting late. We got home at 1:30am.. but it was SO worth it!!

Happy Fathers Day to my daddy and Dean!!!

I didn't get to see my daddy today since he is working nights.... he was sleeping when we left and was gone once we got home.. but he did know we were thinking of him and he was loved :) He had a little treat waiting on him when he got home this morning {and of course got a phone call this afternoon}...

This is what was in the box from Zane and Peyton...

Our morning started at 8:30 when both kids got up.

After breakfast we all got ready and headed out to meet with Dean's mom and sister to go see Mrs Sue's brother and wife {Uncle Butch and Aunt Carol} who are moving to Oregon.

Once we were done spending some time chatting and saying goodbye we headed to the Loop for lunch!! We then headed outside to take some pics and of course we found some ducks who were in need of some french fries, lol!!

Then we were off the Grandma's so that she could come and see Zane sing and dance at his VBS performance.

We had a little time to burn before church so we went down to the river and came across this...

ok.. back to church... We could hear Zane all through the performances talking, haha! After the first group he said "All done!!" After the second it was "My turn!!" Then after another "I open present!!" haha.. he was cracking us up! But then when it was his turn he seemed to have lost his spunk :( He was so tired that he just sat through his performance.. no singing or dancing. Guess all the running around with only about a 20 min nap just wasn't enough. He did seem to have a great time though.

WOOO HOOO!!! I can't tell you the last time Dean and I got to go to dinner and movie with NO kid.. much less kids! haha! Thank you to Granny and Aunt Kim for watching Peyton and Zane! And a HUGE Thank you to Aunt Kim for FREE movie tickets and letting us use her refill buckets for the movies {$6 for popcorn and a drink!! heck yes!!!} Time flew WAY too quickly though! We ate dinner at Mellow Mushrooms {had the BEST pizza EVER, though Dean just said it was good} and then headed to go see Pirates!!

These should have TOTALLY been done last week.. but better late than never! I had planned on doing more with Peyton but she was NOT having it. I got her to sit in this one pose and decided after countless attempts that this was all I was getting and that I was NOT moving her! haha! Then Zane decided he wanted pics too.. so I changed his clothes and took some of just him and then of course him and Peyton. LOVE that he wanted to take pics!

Thursday... Zane wanted to hold Peyton {he was putting off bed time} ... and once daddy got his jammies on he decided he wanted to wear his hat... He's SO ready for Disney World!! {only a couple more weeks buddy!}

Good grief!! I can't believe it's already been ONE month!

A few Peyton facts:

*We've found out she has colic. :( {Makes it some what easier when she's screaming, at least we now know there is a reason!}

*She HATES her car seat!

*Still in newborn diapers and clothes {I can't wait till she is in her 0-3 months clothes!!!}

*She LOVES her swing!

*The only way she will fall asleep in her crib is on her side.

*She usually sleeps in 4-5 hour spurts at night.

We were invited to join some friends down at Lake Lilly this weekend. We had so much fun meeting everyone!! Zane swam ALL day, rode on the wakeboard with Dean, played on the kneeboard, played with a little red headed boy who is a month younger than him and had fun trying to catch minnows {we did manage to catch two.. that I'm pretty sure are traumatized for life!!}. Peyton slept pretty much ALL day in her swing {with Miss Kinsley swinging right beside her sleeping too!} And Dean and I just had a great time with other adults and swimming. Dean was a hit with the kids.. haha.. he was SO tired when we left from riding all the kids on the wakeboard around the lake. Thank you Matt and Julia for inviting us down, we really had a BLAST! {and we PROMISE to stay next time!!}

well sort of! haha! Zane's still trying to figure out the petals... He gets a few rounds in and then goes the wrong way and hits the brakes. Poor little guy, I'm sure the grass and dirt aren't helping him, thinking we'll have to make a trip to granny's so he can try it out on the concrete.

And what was Peyton doing while Zane was playing with his bike??? Swinging of course!
