The Bare Family

Of course we have to break in the boat everyday... haha! Another beautiful afternoon in the boat...

Today after Dean got home from work we loaded up in the boat and took it for it's maiden voyage down the river.

So with selling the old boat of course comes a new boat... well new to us boat :) I went and picked up our new baby from Orlando today just to get to St Augustine and blow a tire on the trailer. Sat on the side of 95 of 2.5 hours before getting a spare and heading to where I thought was home when Dean called to say my running lights weren't working, we stop at the next exit to fix those and find out the spare tire is running SUPER hot... we ended up limping it into Jax.. and by limping I mean exit to exit making sure the tire wasn't getting too hot, before getting to a Walmart and being able to buy TWO spare tires to place on the one side of the trailer to get us home... Which we finally arrived at about 1:30am!

My mother's day actually started on Thurs. After a family dinner Zane headed home with Aunt Kim and Granny, Peyton headed home with daddy and momma headed off to FINALLY get a pedicure! Once I got home with Zane I was surprised with my first mother's day gift... A Macbook Pro and Photoshop for it! YAY!! Apparently daddy and Peyton made a stop before heading home. Friday I got us all packed up for a weekend at Disney! We spent Saturday morning at Magic Kingdom, left when it started getting hot and packed, toured around Orlando, was surprised by Aunt Kim coming down to play for a while, swam in the pool and then headed back to Magic Kingdom for the night. Sunday we slept in and then ate at T-rex and shopped a little before heading home. Once home I was in for another Mother;s day surprise... a Mother's ring with the kids names and birthstones. Dean without a doubt out done himself this year!! Hope everyone else had a wonderful Mother's Day!! ...

Before heading out to Orlando for the weekend our first stop was for mommy and me pics on the beach. Here is a sneak of them...

Peyton had her one year check up today and she's truckin' right a lot. She's 30.5 inches and weighed 21 lbs and 5 oz. She's a fast little crawler. She stands up by herself but doesn't quite have the confidence to take her first steps just yet. She loves to walk with you helping her though. You can't eat in front of her now without sharing. She currently has 3 teeth in and 3 more trying to come through. She's finally wearing her 12 month clothes and I hope she wears them for a while because she has a TON of them! ha!! She LOVES her brother to eternity and back, she's so over the moon for him it's crazy.

I'm still having difficulty believing it's been a whole year since we first met Miss Priss, and I couldn't imagine life without her. She certainly completes our little family! Today we celebrated with family and friends and I couldn't have been happier with the way thing turned out... it was SO pretty! Her theme was pink elephants.. but I mainly concentrated on the colors.. white, gray and light pink. There was a dessert table {mini cherry cheesecakes, pink and white powdered donuts, chocolate dipped marshmallows, pink chocolate popcorn, cake pops, cookies, pretzel buttons, chocolate covered oreos and strawberry filled cupcakes}. There was a mini candy bar for take home treats and the favors for the kids were little boxes of animal cookies. Lunch was as simple as Subway sandwiches, nuggets for the kids, chips and then fruit and veges. Funniest thing of the day...
