Today we headed out to the base for the Family Christmas Party. We got to explore where daddy works, see the planes, kids played on bounce houses, looked in the rescue vehicles, we rode a train and of course seen Santa!!!
Today the kids insisted that since it was my birthday that we HAD to go get a cake. With Dean's work schedule he doesn't get home till after the kids are in bed so I decided to take the kids out and let them pick out my cake. Then once home they insisted that they HAD to sing happy birthday so I could blow out the candles. hehe! Love them! Here is the cake they picked out! OH… and I'm 33weeks on my 33rd birthday! Played the lottery… No luck! ha!
Such a RARE thing for Dean and I to have a date night!! We were both so excited when Curt and Mary told us to get our stuff together and go! Thank you guys SO very much!!
Our original plans were to spend Thanksgiving with my family since that's the one holiday that's easy for us to travel down there. However with me being pregnant and a family member down there having shingles we had to miss Thanksgiving this year with my side. So we ended up joining with Dean's family this afternoon which has been a while! We loved every moment and had a good time catching up with everyone!
It's that time… Family Christmas pics!!! Peyton actually fell asleep on the way to our session so she was QUITE the grump for pictures. No matter how hard each of us tried to make her laugh we only managed to get a handful of smiles out of her. Other than that.. these were PERFECT!
I can't believe my little man is 6!!! He's such a GREAT big brother who looks out for his sister {don't get me wrong they still argue and fight from time to time}. He's SO smart and has a fantastic imagination! He's inventive, spunky and overall such an awesome kid! I wouldn't trade him for the world no matter how much he drives me absolutely CRAZY sometimes. He changed our lives forever.
