Fever

We had our first experience with a fever within the past 24 hours. Wed morning at about 2am we woke up to a coughing baby. By Wed afternoon he was a coughing and congested baby and by that night he was running a fever. I felt so bad for my little man. We called the doctor when it hit 101. They told us to just keep doing what we were doing and that they would see him in the morning... and if his fever got higher or any other symptoms arose to give them a call back. Well we made it through the night (me with only 2 hours of sleep) and headed to the doctor this morning. He was running a temp of only 99.3 when we got there. The doctor checked him out and said that he looked good for having a cold and that they believed the fever was from the cold and nothing else. I was told again to just keep up everything and call them if anything changed. He's def been in a better mood today, still fussy here and there, but in a much better mood. I even got a couple of smiles... granted the giraffe on his wall got a few more. :) So I'm hoping that little man gets to feeling better soon, I hate seeing him sick!
