Happy 1st Birthday Little Man!!!

I can't even begin to say how bitter sweet this birthday is.... I'm so happy that we've made the first year, lol! The first few months were def a learning experience for Dean and I both. I got to stay home and watch his first smiles, roll overs, crawls, and first steps. I was there with his first words. I've gotten to experience what many wish to have... don't get me wrong, there were those days were I swore I was going back to work... but I have been so blessed to have the opportunity to stay home and experience everything with Zane and not miss a thing.... Granted I did miss his first "love you" that daddy got to hear while out on a photography shoot.

This year has been filled with MANY milestones, laughs, smiles, giggles and just utter JOY. Zane has brought so much to Dean and I and we are very lucky to have him.

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
