2 Year Appt / Baby Check up




We had Zane's 2 year appt today... he's now 33 lbs and 38 inches tall!!! {95%} He did GREAT... and didn't even cry with his ONE shot!

After Zane's appt it was off to check on Miss Peyton :) She was kicked and moving while we were trying to listen to her heart beat... though I still can't feel her move {which is so weird for me because I felt Zane at 12 wks!} The dr gave me some stronger meds for this nausea {thank goodness!!} and some meds for these wonderful migraines that showed up about 2-3 weeks ago.. hoping they work better than everything else so far so I can start to feel like a person again.

After both appts we headed off to the Loop for some lunch with Aunt Kim and then a little shopping for Miss Peyton!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
