Zane's Easter field trip

Today was Zane's preschools Easter field trip to the St Marys Express.   We were SO looking forward to this and well… it was RAINY to say the VERY least.   But the show must go on.   The train ride would have been great.. minus the wet part!  They put on a show at the end of the line where the sandman helps rescue the Easter bunny from the winter warlock which was pretty cute.. then we headed back down the tracks and to the station for an indoor egg hunt.

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
