Zane's 1 1/2!!!

WOW!! Still can't believe my life is on fast forward! Today I took Zane for his 1.5 year appt... and he's doing great and above for his age :D That is ALWAYS good to hear!! and thankfully only one shot today.. and some how mommy ended up being the one to hold him this time.. but he did great and not one tear!!

stats... he weighs 30.2 lbs and is 34.5 inches tall... 95%!!

Since he did SO good.. I decided to take him to Riverside park since it's right around the corner. He had so much fun chasing the pigeons (birdies), watching the ducks and playing on the playground! I can't believe he's growing so quickly! He even got to feed the ducks and pigeons when we were leaving... these nice ladies and their kids brought bread and shared with Zane :) There still are nice people out there!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
