Adult Night Out...

well sorta, haha! Our friends just moved back home from Texas and we decided to take them out for dinner tonight. Their two boys won't be in till tom night ... early Sat with their aunt... and we had Granny watch Zane tonight.. so it was only us adults.. and it was SO nice to have adult conversation and catch up! I'm SO happy that they're back in town.. and just in time for all the fun holidays!! I do believe Kristi and I may try to plan out a Halloween play date :) I'm SUPER excited about that!! Anyways.. here are a few pics from tonight...

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
