A trip to Savannah

So Kim and I were going to make a day trip to Savannah yesterday but there ended up being a 90% chance of rain so we decided to post pone our trip for a while. And well needless to say it only lasted a day, lol. Today we made our trip in and while I did bring my camera I was soo busy just looking around and enjoying everything I took only a few pictures (literally!). We walked along the river and then hit up some shops and of course caught dinner at Paula Dean's restaurant Lady & Sons. Here are the FEW pics I took, lol! I can't wait to make a trip back.. and the next time I fully intend to come back with LOTS of pics!!!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
