2 years!!
This is a long one folks :)
I can't believe that Dean and I have been married for 2 years!! Time sure does fly! I remember the day we got engaged... telling our families... picking out our wedding party... agreeing on wedding colors (lol)... picking locations... getting ideas together for everything... making all the bouquets... going to order our cake... getting my dress... looking at rings... getting Dean to take DANCE LESSONS!!!!
Then that wonderful day was here! I remember the night before.. being late for my own wedding rehearsal (lol)... staying out at Walmart with Jenn and Heather till 4am!! and still not getting my goldfish! (lol)... and then getting woke up on the couch at 8am and being told to go back to sleep and everyone would get everything ready. (though I didn't.. I got up and started going to town on the decorating the tent)... I remember going to get my hair done with the girls.. and Chrissy making me cry :) ... I remember going back to dad's to finish up some decorating, while a couple of the girls went back to my house to print the programs that I forgot to print, and finding Dean and Curtis stuck in the driveway with Mr Richard and dad trying to figure out how to get the keys out of the Tahoe!.. I remember peeking out the window in my dad's bathroom trying to explain just how I wanted things and then just giving in and saying whatever they thought looked good would work for me.... I remember leaving out the back door with Heather after waiting on them to still get the keys out after 45 min!!...
I remember watching everyone get ready at the church... and just how beautiful everything was... I remember finally getting dressed and thinking that I couldn't believe this moment was finally here and how all of a sudden a year had just flow by... I remember taking picture with everyone... I especially love the ones of dad and I.... I remember looking at the candles for my mom and Dean's dad and wishing that they could be there in person to see how happy we were... I remember the moment Mrs D walked in the back room to give me a flower with a pin on it in memory of my mom (it's still in my bouquet to this day)... and then having to rush to the bathroom to re-do my make-up because I cried it all off... as they were calling me to walk down the aisle... I remember standing behind the doors with everyone just staring at me and telling me how beautiful I was... and then Quentin asking why I was crying, lol! That this was suppose to be a happy day and me responding by saying this is the Greatest day!... then seeing those doors open for me to walk and seeing everyone there who loved and supported us... and then everything disappeared when I seen Dean.. and I could no longer control my tears.
I remember about falling up the steps, lol... Talking with Dean while Uncle Paul was talking... our sand unity... and then the funniest momment by far... saying "UuuhHHH!!" after Dean gave me our first peck! lol... and then him laughing (along with everyone else!) and pulling me back to him for a REAL first kiss!.. I remember taking our group pics and then having some time to go to the river and take some of just Dean and I...
I remember arriving at the reception and wanting to kill our dj for telling us we were late when we were actually early!!.. The amazing food!!... Finally seeing our cakes!!!... and that first dance (which Dean forgot everything that we learned in dance classes) and then me tripping on my dress during the dance!!... Dancing with my daddy... Dean dancing with his mom... and seeing Kim's face when they announced that the Groom would like to dance with his sister, lol!... The wonderful toasts... Smashing the cake in Dean's face :) ... The dollar dance... and then says our goodbye's and heading home...
We had a GREAT and WONDERFUL time on our honeymoon in Tenn. The trip there was sooo long but we made it with our cooler full of goodies! We went to museums, aquariums, white water rafting, Dolly Wood, and so many other things. But after a week we had to return to reality.
Dean,
I'm so happy that I married you. We have def had some hard times but have always worked together to come out on top. I'm so blessed to be not only your wife but now the mother of you son. Thank you so much for making my life so very blessed! I love you so much more than words can express.
