Cookie Time...

Tonight Kim came out yet again to help me out... making cookies this time. And I'm sure she's glad she did... Zane said Aunt Kim tonight for the first time!!! lol.. though I'm pretty sure bribing him to do so doesn't make it count, right?! The story to that.. We were icing the cookies and Zane walked up to Kim and just said "uh".. she laughed and then said not unless you say Aunt Kim. He then walked of (apparently thought about it) and then came back to her and plain and clear said "Aunt Kim" .. lol.. smart kid! so she gives him a bite and then he walks off .. just to return about 3 minutes later to say "Aunt Kim"... lol.. I think he would have continued this all night if he had been allowed!!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
