Bridal / Trash the Dress Shoot

So I woke up this morning with butterflys.... today was my first bridal / trash the dress session. I was excited beyond words. After meeting with Brittany we headed off to Julie Ann's house. Once we were there we ate a great breakfast that Julie Ann had fixed for us and then Brittany started on Julie Ann's hair and makeup for the first session of the day... as you'll see we started off very simple and clean and got down right dirty, lol! I think we counted 4 hair and make-up changes and then well several variations of her wedding dress and then street clothes. We had a blast shooting in San Marco and downtown... did I mention Julie Ann's husband chauffeured us around. Julie Ann was so much fun to work with, she surely knows how to bend and twist to make beautiful pictures. Brittany and I had a great time working together as well... and I must say we do work quite well together. I'll be updating a little later on my JB Photography blog (JBarePhotography.blogspot.com) with pictures from the shoot but for now here is a picture of all three of us.



After an exciting yet tiresome day Brittany and I headed back to her house so that we could get ready to go out to dinner with friends for Buster's birthday. Once Dean and Zane arrived we were off to Boston's. It was a fun time with friends but I must say that it was so nice to get home and get in to bed for some much needed sleep.

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I need your opinion for father's day photo!!!

Ok... So I'm going to enter Dean into a father's day contest and need everyone's opinion on a picture to submit. So please vote for 1 picture and then I'll see which has the most and that will be the one that I submit.... I have to have it submitted by the 31st.. but would like to do it before then...
