Dakota Day

Today I watched Dakota.. so I decided to make it a day full of fun... so we headed to no place other than the zoo!! :) and we were joined today by Candy and Gavin as well. She LOVED it!! We fed the giraffes and she wanted to stay and feed them more. Once we had made our way through everything we can home and her and Zane both crashed for a nap. While I got dinner ready her and Zane played in the living room... and then after dinner Dakota and I went outside to play in the pool. It was a great day!!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
