Zoo Day

Today we headed out to get Aunt Kim and head to the zoo... when we got there Granny was there so Zane invited her to join in on our fun!  I can't tell you the last time we spent practically the WHOLE day at the zoo!  The kids had a ton of fun running around with Aunt Kim and Granny {esp after all this nasty weather we've had}  We did get sprinkled on a bit, but it was overall great!  We rode the train, fed the giraffes, played on the playground, brushed the goats... we just had FUN!  Then to top it all off was a trip to Target, dinner and Cracker Barrel and Aunt Kim stayed the night so we had a mini movie night once we got home!!  Yay for days like today!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
