Zoo Afternoon

Goodness I'm so happy it's Friday.. it's been a rough week with Zane's teething... and well this morning wasn't any better... thus making it a late afternoon trip to the zoo. I just couldn't wait to see the new penguin exhibit.. and get out of the house! Zane LOVED the penguins.. he actually cried when we left, lol! Here are just a few pics from this afternoon... from my late V-day present that I forgot to post about!! I got a Canon Digital Elph!! :) (oh.. and just ignore the smudge in the pics.. didn't realize it was there till I got home :( )

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
