Camping

We finally had a chance to go camping this weekend. It was SO much fun!! This was Zane's first trip and he seemed to really enjoy himself. Peyton stayed at our house with Melissa all weekend and Zane camped with us Friday night and headed home on Saturday {he was WORN out!!} Our weekend was full of friends, swimming, Curt running the new boat into the trees {nothing was hurt thank GOD!!}, campfires, snoring {haha}, smores, boat activities and just plan old fun. No pics from the weekend but it was sure a memorable one!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
