The Bare Family

1) Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you cannot go up to your closet and pull out that cute little purse you used back before you had kids. I want to know what you carried today or the last time you left the house. No cheating! 2) I want to know how much it cost:) And this is not to judge. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, I’d love to hear it. 3) Tag some chicks. Ok... so I have like 4 bags... no lie!!! I'll have 5 SOON... I'm getting a Tracy Joy bag like Brittany's :) So, here goes... Bag #1 - can't leave home without little man's diaper bag. I must say I like and hate this bag... it's not the pretty bag I had picked out when I was pregnant that was like $80 and that Dean said if I bought he would refuse to carry... no it's a $20 Jeep diaper bag from Wally World..... BUT... I can fit sooooo much stuff in it :) Bag #2 - my actually purse... though...

So I'm going to a quick catch up on pictures... not a lot but here goes... Zane in his adorable overalls and cute little shoes... Bailey was sleeping under Dean's pillows, lol, I thought it was a bit funny.... So Wed Brittany and I went to Jax Beach for some more location shots and it also ended up being Zane's first trip to the beach... sorry Daddy! But he was sleeping so we can do his first trip awake next time, lol! Snug as a Bug in a Rug, :) Some Daddy and Zane time.... Some sweet jammie's thanks to Aunt Kim (they say Mommy's Wild Child) Zane's 2nd mohawk!! lol, daddy started this one... it's actually longer but you can't really tell in the pic... Sorry guys... this one is kinda long.... Well my long day started last night. Poor little man just hasn't been his usual self since about Monday. Last night he started running a fever :( I felt so bad for him.. all he really did last night was cry and it took forever to finally get him calm enough to go to sleep. So finally at about 11 (which is about an hour and a half past his bed time). Well we go to bed and I can hear him in there waking up about every 45 minutes give or take. He would wake up move around, cry a little and then go back to sleep after about 5 minutes. Then at 1:30 I get woke up by a screaming baby. I went and got him out of his crib, changed him, cleaned out his little nose, put more saline in his nose, put some baby vapor rub on his shoulders, gave him more tylenol, and then got him back to sleep. Oh and checked him temp... it was 101 on the dot. I had to wake up Dean so that he could get the humidifier down and get it going and then daddy got bonus points ...

As some of you may know I have been in the process of changing some things with my Photography. I have changed the name from JB Photography to Barefoot Images. I was so out of it this morning when I woke up. Zane woke up at his usual 8am and I asked Dean to please go get him. lol, Dean was at work! I forgot it was Monday. So I got out of bed and started my usual morning routine. After breakfast I put Zane in his bouncer and that didn't last long.. he usually is in it about 20 minutes bouncing, looking around, watching the tv.... this morning he might have been in there a total of 3 minutes! not a good sign. So I got him out and started talking to him and playing with him and he just started screaming. So my question for all the mommies is at what age to babies start teething? He's had his hands in his mouth for about the past 2 weeks maybe... constantly chewing on them or anything he can get in his mouth... and the drool, oh the drool, lol! I gave him some tylenol and that seemed to really help so I kept that up all day. So I believe Zane is either teething or had a case of the Mondays. Anyways... Dean comes home tonight and Zane ...

So I woke up on the completely wrong side of the bed this morning, before my feet hit the ground it was bad mood central. I mean it was bound to happen sooner or later right... it's been a while since I've been on the dark side, lol! So Dean had been up since like 5am for whatever reason and fed Zane at 8, right on schedule. I on the other hand over slept for church. I was so mad! 20 minutes is no where enough time for me to get ready and look decent for church much less get Zane ready too! Well I had Dean get Zane's bag ready and dress him in the outfit I quickly grabbed from the dryer, while I tried to throw myself together. 20 minutes later I was dressed, hair and make-up some what ok and looking for shoes.... so then I find my shoes and then proceed out the door behind Dean to leave... looks like we would make it after all. Then we get into the car and I ask Dean for the keys (I needed to drive to get us there in decent timing). Dean says "I thought you had t...

I forgot to post this to Thurday's blog, but that night we ended up doing Zane's hand and foot prints. I was going to do this when he was a newborn and some how never did... so what better time than when he's 3 months! I think Bailey is enjoying Zane's puppet monkey way more than him. He just kinda looks at it like what in the heck is that thing!? Here are some pictures of us playing with her, had to make a slide.. there were too many funny ones..... My Saturday was busy but full of fun. I started out the morning meeting Brittany in Hilliard to go take Family pictures in Fernandina. We had a blast!! I can't believe that it's been 3 months since I met my little man! Time is flying way to fast... someone really needs to find that pause button! I never could imagine what life would be like once he was here... and I wouldn't trade it for the world! I love him so much!!! Anyways.. I was suppose to get up early this morning and go take some pictures of him before heading to Portrait Innovations for his studio pics... and well I stayed up till a little after 3am working on my new photography website.. so needless to say when Zane laid down for his morning nap, mommy took one too! :) After pictures I had some more errands to run (that seems to never end!) and then off to meet Dean to get some tile.... lol, that's another story in its self! So after everything I didn't get a chance to take any of him today and looks like tom is going to be to cold... boo! So here are some of my favorites from the studio today :)
