1 week picture

So we went to JC Penny studios last week to have some pictures made of Zane at a week old.  We finally got to go and pick them up today... I love this picture!!  I didn't plan on taking Zane to a studio since, as most of you know, I have my own photography business, BUT since I wasn't exactly feeling up to it yet I gave in and I have to say that we'll prob still do some in the studio here and there... plus the pictures that I take of him as well.  We're actually going next week to have family portraits done since those are a little harder for me to take.

I LOVE IT!!! Have you ever thought about looking into Portrait Innovations for studio pics? We always find that we get better images and they have much better prices that JC Pennys or other places. When Kate was a baby I think we tried out pretty much every studio you can fin but settled on Portrait Innovations....and LOVE them!

I'll have to try them out them for our family portraits next week. I had a coupon for JC Penny so we just went there. Their prices look much better by far! THANKS!!

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
