Christmas Eve

So we started off today by going to pick up Zane's one month pictures. So here they are...










After picking them up we decided to pick up a few last min gifts before heading home. Once we got home I started making my FIRST Christmas dinner. We decided to do Christmas dinner at my dad's house this year... another first. We did it on Christmas eve because he's working days and we'll be celebrating with Dean's family on Christmas night. So I must say that my dinner turned out quite well... I'm def proud of myself! We had ham, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes (Dean doesn't eat sweet potatoes) and rolls. Then for dessert we had apple pie and sweet potato pie. It was great! We then all opened our presents.... here's what santa brought early.....

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
