2 weeks old....

Time is certainly flying!  I can't believe Zane is 2 weeks old today....  And I'm turning 27 today!!!  Not too much to report... Monday I had my 2 week post delivery doctor's visit... I'm down 23 pounds and healing great... and I can drive again!! lol!  Zane had his 2 week well check visit on Tuesday.  He weighs 8 lbs 11 oz... so he's up 14 oz since last week!!  and he's 22 inches now.... he's grown a 1 1/2 inches since he was born.  The first thing the doctor asked when he walked in the room was "What are you feeding this kid!?!?"  lol!  It was pretty funny.  So he's growing great... they're looking for him to be about 12 lbs by the time he's 2 months.  On to the crappy news.. Dean and I have been avoiding sick people like the plague... and well, we winded up getting sick last Friday.  I thought we were in the clear with Zane because by Monday night he still showed no signs of being sick.... WRONG!  Tuesday morning my little guy woke up with the worst cough and stuffy little nose.  Thank goodness I already had a doctor's appointment that day.  The doctor took a look at him and said that he just had a cold, that of course I couldn't give him anything for, and told me somethings that I could do to make it a little better.  So that's about it for now.
