Gingerbread House....

So tonight we decided to make a gingerbread house. Well... I ended up making it while Dean sat on the couch and Zane was sleeping. I did get Dean to participate a little and take some pics (he was giving Bailey modeling sessions!).... lol, it was fun! Bailey was actually playing the guitar (seriously) making some music while we decorated. Maybe next year I'll get some real help though :) Here are some pics from tonight...

Jamie ... I'm Friday, Candy's friend. Many of us are on pins and needles and haven't heard a peep from Candy in a couple of days. When she goes into labor would you tag her blog so we'll know? I know you just had a precious baby yourself so of course we don't expect anything but would appreciate it.

Hope you and yours are doing well and enjoying Christmas with your wee one. :)

Horrible News

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring
