The Bare Family

I'm so thankful and grateful for all the men and women who have served this country, are serving this county and who have died for this country. They deserve way more than what they are given, they give up so much to fight for our freedom and to keep us safe. I truly don't think that we can thank them enough. Today I slept.. A LOT! We'll just leave it at that.. but it was MUCH needed! Thank you Dean!! We got our ac hooked up in our room so now we won't be waking up in the middle of the night sweating our butts off, haha! Dean's in heaven! and the biggest news for the day..... ZANE USED THE POTTY!!!!! Way to go little man!!!! and now let's just pray it conts.. I would LOVE to have him out of diapers!!! I did get called out though.. I've been trying to use the whole Disney thing to my advantage since he asks to go everyday, several times a day... I've been telling him "If you start using the potty like a big boy, we'll take you!" W...

Today we headed over to Matt and Julia's for a cookout... and to FINALLY see Miss Kinsley!! YAY!! We had a blast and def glad we decided to go after debating since some little boy needed a nap! Zane had fun swimming in the pool and jumping off the deck.. while mommy enjoyed some time talking to adults for a change, haha! Can't wait till next weekend when we head to the lake with this crew! Kinsley and Peyton {Peyton is only 5 days older!!}

Today we headed out to the First Wakeboard Comp of the summer :) We usually help run everything but this year is starting something new... NOT running them! Dean is still going to help... but the weight is off our shoulders with the contest, which I must admit is nice. We can now miss one here and there just like everyone else... or be LATE like today, lol! The contest started at 10 and we arrived about 2! haha! We slept in a bit today then got everything ready to leave. We took Peyton with us today, but she will not be attending them all seeing that she can't exactly be in the sun and surely doesn't need to be in the heat all day. She spent the day in the Pedersen's RV... Dean and Zane spent it in the lake swimming... and mommy did a little of both :) Dean ended up placing SECOND in his division, and this after not riding for about 7 months at that!! Way to go Dean!!!

This week has pretty much FLOWN by just like the last two {Is this now what I have to look forward to!?!? A life on fast forward!?!?}. Monday I some how skipped. Tues I heard nothing but Zane talking about how much he wanted to go back to Disney. Tues night I got a whole 45 MINUTES of sleep... Wed dragged on FOREVER! Thurs was Dean and I's 4 year anniversary. I ventured out to Target for my first trip by myself with two and I'm happy to say that went great! YAY! Then we headed off to St Vincent's to see some of our friends who just had a baby boy {lol, Peyton's 3 weeks old to the day and he's still bigger than her!!} Friday has been spent at home spending time with Zane and Peyton.. Can't wait for the LONG weekend and hope we get to do everything we have planned :) Hope everyone is doing good too!! Zane trying to give Peyton her paci... My two precious babies... Zane decided to let Peyton hold Squirt... this was the first time I've actually seen him ...

Today is Dean and I's 4th anniversary. Seems like we've been married longer than that too! haha! Yesterday marked 10 years since we started dating. I must say I though things were great and couldn't get better when we got married and now I can say that it's only gotten better with time. We've made it through a lot together and it's def help built our relationship that much stronger. I'm so very grateful that God placed Dean in my life when he did. I couldn't picture having a better husband or a better father for Zane and Peyton. Dean does so much... he works so that I can stay home, he helps when he gets home with everything from Zane to dishes, laundry, helping pick up the house... He puts up with my mood swings, lol... made it through TWO pregnancies. I really can't believe how lucky I am. Thank you again Dean for EVERYTHING!!! I love you with all my heart!! May 26, 2007....

Wow has the past two weeks FLOWN! Dean went back to work on Wednesday... I was sad about him returning because I have enjoyed spending the last two weeks with him and so has Zane. Not to mention I was super nervous because I wasn't sure how I was going to handle TWO kids! These past two weeks we've each had one and not had to really deal with both at the same time. On top of that Zane's starting having some major temper tantrums! I can safely say, however, they aren't related to Peyton since they started before her arrival... but I knew that Wed that would have to be corrected {and it was}. Wed and Thurs couldn't have went much smoother! Both kids slept till 10am BOTH mornings!! Zane was warned twice about his attitude before being corrected on the third time.. and has been well behaved since. Friday however was a different story. Peyton decided after only sleeping about 3 hours {and mommy getting less than that} that at 6:45am it was time to just cry uncon...

Today was dr appt day... First up.. Peyton! She's doing GREAT! She now weighs 7lbs 14oz!! and is 21 inches!! The dr was very happy with her weigh gain. :) Next up was my appt... I'm down 14lbs!! umm.. YAY! That puts me 13lbs under what I was when I got pregnant, now to just keep that going! Starting our new diet this week and walking on the treadmill since I'm still not fully released for any activities. I did get orders for blood work since my iron levels were low in the hospital :( Knew that was coming though. Zane was a handful to say the least today... do believe it's those terrible twos trying to set in... and def has NOTHING to do with Peyton. He's yet to show ANY negativity toward her {and I PRAY it stays that way!} He's constantly talking to her, if she's upset he tries to fix it, he's become more interested in holding her, and tells her often that he missed her. I wanted to fit in one last fun family {weekday} thing before Dean headed back to work and I have heard SO many talk about MOSH that Dean and I decided that's where we'd go. Aunt Kim was off today to so she came with us! :) After getting there and doing everything, I must admit, we won't be back any time soon. NONE of us were impressed... I don't know if there is a right or wrong time to go.. but if there is someone please fill us in because I was SO disappointed!! What makes it stink SO badly too.. the weather was SO SO pretty out today!! We had talked about the zoo but decided to scratch it because it had been so hot and we felt that Peyton and I did NOT need to be in it. After feeling the great weather and walking through MOSH I do believe we were all beyond disappointed.. and what to do about that?!?! a little shopping at TARGET!! lol!! {After a little walk beside the river and watching a train} Here are a couple of pics from today...

Friday I had plans with a friend for her to come out and visit, but with only having about three hours of sleep we re-scheduled. I ended up sleeping till almost mid day {well waking up to feed Peyton and pump in there too}... Thank you Dean for letting me sleep, I know my time for that is coming to a quick end :( That afternoon my aunts came in for a visit and to see Peyton. We went out to dinner and visited before heading home to try and get some rest. Saturday morning we were headed to a Family Day function with VW, that we almost scratched thanks to Miss Peyton being up from 12:30 till about 5am! Got to get her back on track! We got up and ready about the time my other 2 aunts and my uncle came in. We went over and visited with them for about an hour before we left to VW and they all went up to visit some other family. We didn't get to VW till about an hour and a half into them starting. They had all kind of fun stuff... we stayed at the bounce house/slide! lol! Zane h...
