1 Day Old

Our second day in the hospital brought lots of visitors. Starting with a blood drawl from one of the nurses :/ Not the way I wanted to start my day, lol! Next was getting things off and disconnected so I could start moving around and getting out of bed {which I'd been asking to do since the night before. Dean and I are guessing because I had them "glue" me back together vs staples/stitches was the reasoning for that, lol}. This go around was MUCH easier than the first!! A LOT less pain! We are so blessed to have so many family and friends to come and see us! I can't thank everyone enough to take time out of their day to come visit :) We also had Joy stop by and take some pics of Miss Peyton {that post will be next!}

Well I had planned on updating everything from last Sat through today tonight and well, I will be putting that off for a little while... I got some horribly bad news when Dean and I got home tonight. My Grandpa passed away this afternoon... I'm beyond a loss for words. I have spent so much of my life with him.. I love him so very much and loved seeing him with Zane... I couldn't wait for him to get to watch him grow. I will miss him so very very much. He always had the best stories and was very good at making things with his hands. He has made me so many things over the years that it's not even funny. I'm so very glad that he did get a chance to make Zane a stool and rocker. On Sunday Zane was 5 months and so we took him out for his 5 months pics. I wanted to base his pictures this month around the rocker that Grandpa had made him for Christmas... I just couldn't wait to send him these pictures! I wanted to be there to see the smile that I knew it would bring

I need your opinion for father's day photo!!!

Ok... So I'm going to enter Dean into a father's day contest and need everyone's opinion on a picture to submit. So please vote for 1 picture and then I'll see which has the most and that will be the one that I submit.... I have to have it submitted by the 31st.. but would like to do it before then...
